Collagen Disorders- A Review

Collagen is the largest and most abundant protein in the body, making up about 65% of our total protein. It is a fibrous protein, found mainly in the skin, bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments where it forms a scaffold to provide strength and structure. As collagen forms building block of body structures, any defect in collagen results in disorders.
