Dental Insurance is a special type of contract between an insurance company and it client which is designed to pay the costs associated with dental treatment. Comprehensive Dental Insurance is almost non-existent contrary to western countries. Owing to the growing awareness about oral health among patients there is a need for dental insurance. Therefore the present article is written with the aim to review the available schemes on dental insurance in India.
